A beautiful wedding

It was the beautiful wedding of L and I and my family were really excited about it!

L's mum and my mum had been neighbors and best friends for the longest time and we practically grew up together. 

it wasn't so long ago when we were going to primary school and then starting our teenage lives. Now, we are getting married one by one. Time flies past without us knowing it and suddenly, there is so much past to look back and reminisce about.

Wore my tweed jacket for the wedding, love the studs on it and i certainly wish that SG is not as warm and humid so that i can wear it more often.

Xmas again

It's my absolute favourite season again and I feel so happy and blessed just looking at those lights, Xmas ornaments and Xmas songs everywhere I go :)

Starbucks has got to be one of my favourite place during this time every year.
Check out those Xmas mugs and drinks they come up with. Absolute heavens !

Today, I could not resist getting a ginger bread man after the usual breakfast.


Steamboat session with my pals from the polytechnic. Almost 10 years ago? My goodness! I'm getting so old!

Been down with an eye infection so, looks like the specs is here to stay for another 2 weeks or so!

We also checked out the dessert place opposite jpot. The durian pancakes are so good! But so sweet!

Babies

I love babies!

They smell and look great all the time and they remind me of how innocent we were when we all started out.

Someone loves driving.

Poly mates

My favorite poly mates came to visit last Saturday!
E came with her son while G came alone so we ended up with 2 woman, 2 men and 2 boys!

Only managed to come up with these. A recipe my neighbor shared with me when i was still in primary school! Today, that neighbor already has a family of 4 with a little boy and a little girl :) anyway, We settled the rest of our stomach space with kfc :)

After the session at home, G and I went for the fitting of his suit for our wedding and I got another dress from Julia wedding news. This dress is for the march in during dinner while the one from legrand will be for the customary on the 16th!
Love the details on it, love the difference it makes.
Suddenly, I can't wait for the day to come. :)

Had a great time meeting up with The 2 guys and 4 ladies.
It's been a while.... I love checking on the progress of others. Most of all, I love how everyone seems to be in a better place than before.

And as usual, the meetups always end in the early morning and I spent my Easter holiday in bed after a brief season with my wardrobe guy. Had to wake up at 2 to meet him and then back to bed at 6pm!

Tomorrow, my entire day is to be spent at my new place waiting for the delivery of my tv and the sofa.
No complaints really.
Because I'm getting closer to being able to laze in bed in my own home :)

It's been ages since we've last arranged a meetup with the J family :)

Everytime we meet up, the ladies will be talking almost non stop about make up and as for the guys.... Well, no idea what they were talking about. Haha

Jervis have grown up such a great deal too. He can articulate himself rather well now and his smile is still the same as when he was so little. That shy, cheeky smile :)

Jen is a little crazy over mango and pineapples.
She decided to go for mango and strawberry instead of the boring all mango pie.



Mine -- mixed fruit. The fruits tasted really fresh and yummy! The cream was a little too much though!



Some green tea infused with pear. We could not taste the pear. Just the usual green tea. But it's good!

its the weekends!!!

Soooo happy now because tomorrow is saturday and this means i can sleep in without feeling guilty =)

had a good lunch with my ex-colleague and now, friend, Chris.

sometimes, i have opinions about how our country is being run but then again, looking around at all the greenery, those tall tall buildings as well as how the Marina Bay is starting to look as dazzling as Vegas, i think they are doing a good job overall.

so anyway, my nice friend took some nice pictures of me!

this is the 2nd time he have taken pictures of me and i had been a little unsuccessful in uploading the pictures due to the size of them.

It was sera's first birthday party!
The angel is sucha sweet darling!
Been seeing alot of little boys. Starting to wonder if the future sg is going to be a 70% male city.
Well... One more sera to save the day!

bright lights

its been awhile since i've last been to clarke quay and yesterday, Sherine and i admired it from across the Singapore river.

suddenly, the entire place look soo bright and colourful!

i've never realised that the bridge is actually decorated with rainbow colour lightings.... i've never realised that the stairs leading to the singapore river are decorated with lights at the edges too.

have i been too blind to all these or have they just been added on since my last trip there?

suddenly.... i wonder if all these have got anything to do with F1..... upon a deeper thought, i bet it has got everything to do with it.



This was supposed to be an artistic shot.
but as we can all tell........... it ended up being a very eerie shot with my head floating at the side of the picture.
i hope i did not spook you all too badly.

Formula 1

we had some free tix for the exciting F1 warmup rounds on friday and with the warm up being as exciting as it was... i can just imagine ambience on the nights of the races!

we were at one of the bends of the circuit and its only at those areas of the entire circuit where you can get a decent picture of those cars. we tried taking some pics when the cars were going at supersonic speed on a straight path and we either keep missing it or end up with blurry images of those flying cars.

while that All-Star-Sister go explore the area under the scorching heat...

my mum and i went over to Max Brenners' for some cuppucino, coke and belgium waffle with caramel bananas and melted chocolate!
