Something new

I think I used the shu umuera makeup remover for a few good years before I moved on to kose oil makeup remover because after a while, I just don't think that the one from shu umuera is its job anymore. On some days, it felt as though I still had makeup on after cleansing my face.

I then proceeded to use 4 bottles of the makeup remover from kose which was working very well until one day, when I decided to try out the oil-gel makeup remover from Chanel.
It was very very good.
Everytime after cleansing the face, my face feels softer and more hydrated.
I never knew that this kind of radiance could come from using Any makeup remover.

Last week, J introduced me to this makeup remover.

It can be found at Watson for $19.90 and it's such a dream to use really!
Instead of the usual ones I have been using which requires me to rub the remover over my face in order to dissolve the makeup, this one only requires me to wipe off my makeup with the cotton pads.
It's such a novelty to me and I enjoy seeing the makeup removed from my face in this manner. Very refreshing! Haha!
So far, it's doing a good job and I find myself reaching out for it though I actually still have abit of the Chanel makeup remover left.

One of the thing which gets me very excited about travelling is how I can get my hands on cosmetics which are not available in sg.
Buying and trying out new cosmetics makes me very happy.
The level of happiness and contentment I get from it, I think many ladies will understand.
Very glad to say that my husband seems to understand it totally too and goes shopping with me for it :)
Sometimes.
But that's good enough :)

What is it about makeup that is sooo captivating to me? I have no idea.
Maybe it's the colors, the textures, the shimmers, the smell of them, anyway, I love them all so for my Europe trip, I had a mission which was to get some of Giorgio Armani's much raved about foundations back.
I also very much wanted some stuff from the Tom Ford makeup line.
I did not manage to get any Tom Ford makeup as I wasn't able to locate them but I got the GA luminous silk foundation as well as the very popular designer lift foundation.

The designer lift foundation is meant for more matured skin and though the coverage is good, it doesn't give much of a glow.
It's not one of my favourite.

The Luminous silk foundation, on the other hand, is an absolute beauty!
It is definitely high on my favourite list on the same position as the one from cdp.
It glides onto the skin, gives a good coverage and looks really natural though it is not as long lasting as tient fluid from cdp.
I would say that when the one from cdp lasts 12 hours, this one probably lasts 10.
But even at 10, it's freaking amazing!!!!
This is me in it, under the natural sunlight.

I also tried out the sheer blush from GA in no.6 and it's a really pretty and soft pink.
I usually wear pink blushers and the non pink one will be Nars orgasm which is a little peach in colour.
I use this one from GA as a highlight, something the lady from GA taught me and I regretted not getting more shades of them.
The pigment is awesome and the powder is really fine.

Here's a comparison of it with one of my favourite blusher, Angelique from Nars.

A comparison of it with super orgasm from Nars.
Ps: orgasm is one of the prettiest blushers around but the super orgasm which is another version of it is not that great.
The gold flakes are too big and it makes one looks like a disco ball instantly.
Good for dramatic nights.

Goodnight.
Sweetest dreams.
:)
